When Ciment de Mauritanie SA was created, it set the objective to develop an integral cement factory in 3 steps:
- Packing plant (May 1981).
- Clinker grinding plant (November 1998), with an extension of the plant in 2004.
- Electricity power station of 7 megawatts.
- Unloading terminal for pneumatic boats.
- Infrastructure for the delivery of cement in bulk.
- Complete cement plant (currently planning).
At present, the factory is in full operation, with a grinding plant of 2 mills and a capacity of 900,000 tons. The electricity power station allows to guarantee the delivery times to our clients.
